FINALLY WILL RELEASING IT!!

Hello all. Here is a good news for you! I have decided to release my Vortex v1.6 CFW next week on 15 October 2011. I think that's a suitable date to release it. I also want to apologize to all of you because make you all waiting for months. That's because I want to make this Vortex v1.6, my final CFW as a clean CFW without bugs. After I releasing it soon my site will updated with mods for Vortex CFW and hope you can mod it by yourself soon and still follow on my site update. Thanks :)

CONNECTIVITY SETTING BUG NEARLY SOLVE!

Hello all. Here I want to tell you good news that connectivity setting nearly solved! This bug actually cause by Sync app in data transfer setting. I have remove this app from my CFW and now I need to reintegrate it. It will take time since I need to search all files that related with Sync app. After this bug solve I will release it. Hope you can wait. Sorry for make you wait for a long time. Thanks :)



Finally connectivity setting bug has gone! I have totally remove Data Transfer setting and now I can open connectivity setting normally. I'll release Vortex 1.6 soon. Need to prepare for changelog and other stuff including recheck my CFW features again to make sure it's free of bugs.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BETATESTING DOES NOT MEAN USING THE PHONE AS YOU USUALLY DO!

Betatesting means:

- Test all the menus and options of the phone! It takes a lot of time, and patience, but this is necessary.

- Ability to recognize a suspect behavior of the phone.

- You have to be ready to format and hard reset your phone each time, you’ll have to make backups, so don’t apply if you have important data on your phone or if you need your phones to be fully working at all times (for work reasons or whatever).

What I meant is just apply if you have time enough to test the CFW  properly, this will make Vortex Anna a better CFW for everyone.

Default browser now very fast and stylish. It also have a new UI. Other improvement are messaging. It have default smiley icons. Hope you all can wait until it release date soon. Thanks. :)

ANNA ICONS ON VORTEX CFW??

Hello all. Sorry for being quiet for a long time. I'm busy with my Industrial Training. About 2 month later I'll finish it. But in this busy moment, I've spend my rest time ported Anna Icons on my Vortex 1.5. Its look nice and very elegance. This set of icons are done by Binh24. Credits goes to him. I think I'll release Vortex 1.6 later with with this set of icons. And about battery consumption I'll try to fix it. About language sorry I can't help you and will not answer your questions about it. I hope you can waiting for 2 month later. Thanks for supporting.

BATTERY CONSUMPTION

I dont know whats the problem with the battery consumption that you all experience..my phone can use more than 2 days with Vortex 1.5 and still have three bars remaining..you can see the screenshot(attachment) that last phone charge is '2 days 9 hours ago'..maybe 'Remaining', 'Discharge', and 'Average Life' not accurate but 'Last Charge' is accurate according to time past..so the conclusion, battery consumption is depend on how do you use your phone..thanks..

Here I want to tell you that I'll release my CFW tomorrow! First I need to make a preparation before release it. So I hope you can be patient. Sorry for the delay of release date. I can't avoid from what happening at my place right now. Hope you'll satisfied my next CFW, Vortex v1.5! About adding other language sorry for that. I can't fix that bug. ABOUT ADDING OTHER LANGUAGES

Hello all. Sorry I need to tell you a bad news. I know many of you like to use your country language in your phone but my CFW doesn't support that. This is because all applications that I integrate in my CFW only use English RSC file. So when you add other language all this applications with only English RSC file can't function normally. My CFW also doesn't have enough space to add some other languages. If you want to add your language, I think you need to remove Nokia Ovi Maps 3.06 from my CFW for better space. Thanks.

VORTEX V1.5 PREVIEW

Hello all. Soon I'll releasing Vortex V1.5. Here I want to show you some screenshots preview from Vortex V1.5. Vortex V1.5 have a simple and light theme. It use N8 Icons pack and I hope you'll like it. I also add Racing Thunder Global Race games into my CFW. Some other mods also have been added for better looking such as battery icon, lock icon, dialer icon and many more. For menu layout I use 3x4 because of majority results from the survey I've done.

WHAT KIND OF MENU LAYOUT THAT YOU WANT?

For now i need to know if you want 3x4 or 4x4 menu layout. I'll choose for majorities answer and use it in my next CFW.

Firstly I want to thanks to all that support my works. I'm so busy right now because my new semester of study now begin. I'm so sorry if I have not reply your comment in this blog or other forum that I've post. I hope you all can understand my situation and continue to support me.
