Hello all. Sorry for waiting. I'm here just now not to release it but need to have some betatesters first for my last CFW, Vortex Anna.
To apply just write a comment telling why I should choose/trust you as a betatester, or send me an email at (homegrown_aie@yahoo.com), and then add the details such below:

PLEASE NOTE THAT BETATESTING DOES NOT MEAN USING THE PHONE AS YOU USUALLY DO!
Betatesting means:
- Test all the menus and options of the phone! It takes a lot of time, and patience, but this is necessary.
- Ability to recognize a suspect behavior of the phone.
- You have to be ready to format and hard reset your phone each time, you’ll have to make backups, so don’t apply if you have important data on your phone or if you need your phones to be fully working at all times (for work reasons or whatever).
What I meant is just apply if you have time enough to test the CFW properly, this will make Vortex Anna a better CFW for everyone.

ReplyDeleteGlad to see the progress made by the best 5800 CFW. I have enjoyed your firmwares for a very long time but I can't test out 1.6 as I have moved to android. However, best of luck with the new firmware. We all know you build the best CFW.

ReplyDelete@mr jackson : Even i had v101 now and am able to use this fw which is based on v007 core! because i use a special core created by binh24 where older v52.0.007 rofs2 files can be used with that new v52.0.101 core.
ReplyDeleteah ok i was just upset about that and if you can please do me a favor,in the post of your vortex 1.6 beta 12 august,integrate the need of the people who comment, in your final cfw,like guy who want symbian 3 music player ,vortex 1.5 theme,moving particles,cause im in university now i knew what is good or not about improvment in technology,so i strongly suggest you to take upon consideration their needs because im sure they are all waiting and want this final creation of your to be as perfect as possible man.listen to your people.thx.
ReplyDeletehe has already added those themes in 1.6. And things like adding S^3 music player is not possible right now! No one is able to do so :( . Particles can be added, but it will slow the phone (and hence defy the purpose of Vortex) and eat battery.

already many are making CFW for Nokia, but the applications / features added in the CWF is not to my liking. I prefer applications / features added in CFW that you create. existence of a new CFW (vortex 1.6) I feel happy, with new features that exist in CFW that you create. maybe I can test your CFW.
parth please made clock widget removable so that we can switch homescreen freely you get me.one homescreen with widgets,music player clock etc... and the other one with nothing.ok dont forget that.

ReplyDeleteso far i like vortex 1.6. More responsive n no more out memory error like 1.5. Last time when use opera 11, always got that error. Tested over a week now.

tested for me also like the guy said before theres only bug in connectivity settings when touch it rewind to menu so it takes us to 3 times check,when will you release the final one???????

I once did used ur Vortex while under v 52.0.007.., Please reply.. as i really wanna try your latest Vortex...Thank you in advance.
Btw.., could u assists me on how to remove all the "Slide" things before flashing...
I mean the files..where and in what folder/s exactly are they located in the Rof2 or is it in the Uda as it's more convenience to use the Tap as you would for ur own personal use... I would really appreciate if u could kindly assists me on this as it's already getting on my nerves...lol..!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the files. I will follow your tutorial to install the CFW in my nokia 5800. Once i complete it, i will certainly test all the screens in my phone. Before your attachments, i tried to install JAF TOOL from the site http://expertester.wordpress.com/2010/09/06/how-to-install-flash-custom-firmware-into-nokia-5800-express-music/.
But during the install of JAF, i found many error screens such as
1) "You have different version of nokia cable driver. Do you want to istall drivers version 7.0.2.0 from set up"
and
2)CallClassInstaller(REGISTERDEVICE) FAILURE:(0xe0000235)
3)Main FAILURE: (0xe0000235)
. I will install this again using your tutorial again. and I will let you know the things.

ReplyDeletefull QWERTY keyboard in message will not auto change to alphanumeric if u do this step.
1- set accel switch v1.00 "enable" using media bar
2- create new message in lanscape mode it will auto change to QWERTY
3- disable accel switch v1.00 using media bar
4- QWERTY still there and will not auto change to alphanumeric.
4- after sent sms/ or done in messaging, try create new message. it will show QWERTY.. need to manually choose alphanumeric!
