It's possible to create Vortex with the new ROM files, because I want to use your vortex 1.5, I used binh core file, your uda and rofs2 file, flashed my phone, but my phone won't start :(, just flashing the screen and restart again and again :(. I'm kinda busy right now but will definitely flash to your new release of CFW one of these days, Phadly... Once I tried Vortex, there's no going back to the original firmware or any other CFWs... ReplyDeletex-plore not damage m8..you need to restart your phone after open it for the first time..then about update contact to ovi you can't do that because I have remove Ovi Sync since Vortex 1.3..I recommend you to flash back to your old cfw then backup your data with file manager..then flash with my cfw and restore the data..thanks.. :)

I would like to add Share Online to your CFW, I have downloaded the app from your Mods section and the file includes folders like private, resource etc. Just by copying the included files to the appropriate folders of the CFW will add the application successfully or do we have to do anything else?

I forget to mention that you can't intergrate share online into my cfw because I have replace share online with AcellSwitch apps..you can see in mediabar that share online icon also change to AcellSwitch icon..sorry m8..

ReplyDeletesorry for that problem..you need to edit rofs2..use Nokia Firmware Editor (NFE) and search all x-plore files in it..use siscontent to extract all x-plore files and use it for reference to delete all x-plore files in rofs2..then after delete all that files just repack rofs2..done..thanks..

Sadly, I can't get X-plore to work. I have tried rebooting and retrying. It always presents a kind of "blue screen of death" that says "Fatal error... Executable file corrupted" or something like that! I tried to overwrite it with a newer version of X-plore but I got the dreaded "component built in" error. I've already downloaded Y-Browser but would like to use X-plore. Any ideas people?

you can do that with tick on "skip APE" in JAF settings..so you dont need to use UDA file..just use CORE and ROFS2 files..I recommend you to formatting your phone and use UDA file to avoid any bugs..but you can try this way first for your experience.. :)

I think you need to delete some xplore file in C:\system\data\***..delete it using file browser..this xplore file extension is not have a same name for different IMEI number..so just rename C:\system\data to C:\system\data0 using file browser..then create new folder C:\system\data..then you can open xplore..close xplore with blue screen using killme..then go to file browser then check for file exist in new C:\system\data\..file that exist in that folder is xplore file..so if your xplore doesn't work just delete this file then restart your phone..dont forget to rename back C:\system\data0 to C:\system\data..try this m8..

Phadly, thank you for your help but unfotunately, no it didn't work. I followed your instructions closely. X-plore however doesn't create any new files in c:\system\data. Possibly because it encounters the error and terminates too soon, before it creates the file? I browsed the folder just to look for files used by X-plore but didn't find any files related to the X-plore name.

ReplyDeleteYeah, my battery isn't quite the way it used to be. But still, comparing the two CFWs why do I notice such a big difference in battery consumption?
Another bug I noticed:
When you go to Tools->Settings->Phone->Phone management, it takes you back to the Tools screen instantly. I've noticed that if I change my theme to something specific (can't remember which one), I can access the Phone Management menu. The bug was there in Vortex 1.4 too.

But in this CFW I don't see any appl. for synchronization of the contacts. With the NFW, there was an application called the "Switch" that let's you sync. contacts, notes, bookmarks between two Nokia phones. Any suggestions to get such a functionality on this CFW? Maybe a third-party appl?

ReplyDeleteSir Please Help, I am unable to install ultimate python pack, when install it says component is buitin. and most of python applications are not working with your builting ptyhon pack. and i also want to update x-plore 1.45 to 1.52(python support) but unable. same error message compnent is builtin.

turn off your phone BEFORE flashing it. and that JAF box driver error is nothing to worry about. its normal.

phadly please help me i remark one annoying bug in your very best vortex 1.5 not only did the battery life drains easily also some songs are missing in my n5800 folder from sound/music,and all this for no reasons please help me if someone know a solution for me to resolve this problem tell me plz thx all im counting on you guys,im bored of having this bug in my 5800 everytimes please respond .......

ReplyDeleteCan i use the latest V52.0.101 New Core from binh24 and mixed it with ur Vortex 1.5 rof2 and uda files..? should i rename ur files according to the New Core from binh24..? and flash it with only 3 files after changing the C00 to C0r..? I once did used ur Vortex while under v 52.0.007.., Please reply.. as i really wanna try your latest Vortex...Thank you in advance.
Btw.., could u assists me on how to remove all the "Slide" things before flashing...
(I mean the files..where and in what folder/s exactly are they located in the Rof2 or is it in the Uda) as it's more convenience to use the Tap as you would for ur own personal use... I would really appreciate if u could kindly assists me on this as it's already getting on my nerves...lol..!
